REQUIREMENTS
Participants must have experience ice climbing and be competent with rope work.
ABOUT
This comprehensive course is carefully crafted to build upon your foundation in single pitch ice climbing, offering you the exciting opportunity to delve into the world of multipitch ice climbing.
Geared towards individuals with prior ice climbing experience, the program also welcomes those with a background in multipitch rock climbing.
Join us as you expand your skill set amidst the stunning icy landscapes of the Gressoney Valley, all while being taught by IFMGA certified guides.
ITINERARY
You will arrive in Italy, and take the transfer from the airport to the Gressoney Valley.
Once there, you will check into the accommodation for your overnight stay.
Single Pitch Top Rope
After breakfast you will meet with your Mountain Guide for a briefing. Your equipment will be checked and you will have the chance to rent anything you may need.
You will spend the day revisiting your ice climbing skills with your guide and reminding yourself of the safety elements, tehcniques and a general refresher of Ice climbing to ensure you make the most of the week to come
Skills
You will continue to refine your skills, however today will include learning a number of additional skills such as anchor placement, building belays, belay stances, rope management and abseiling.
Multipitch Ice Climbing
On these days the group will split, with some having a rest day while the others put their skills to the test, ascending spectacular Ice falls being guided up your first multipitch ice climb by your IFMGA guide. The ratio for multipitch climbing is 1:2 so you will have significant time with the guide to enhance your skills and progress. If you would prefer to not have a rest day, but instead include an additional day of Multipitch Ice Climbing, this can be added on at the time of booking for £200pp
Departure
After breakfast, you will check out of your accommodation and be transferred back to the airport for onward travel.

Transport Information
No Boundaries is an outdoor sports club, not a travel agency or tour operator. As such, we do not include flights in our adventures.
Our pick-up and drop off points for this adventure are as follows:
PICK UP
- Milan Malpensa Airport - 7:30pm
Alternatively there is the option to fly to Turin or Geneva and make your own way to Pont Saint Martin Railway Station, where you can be picked up enroute. You also have the option to make your own way to the valley.
DROP OFF
- Milan Malpensa Airport - 12pm
We can also drop you off at Pont Saint Martin Railway Station for independent onward travel. Geneva and Turin are good alternative airport options.
Please note the above schedule may be subject to change due to operational reasons and can be affected by traffic.
Sports Travel Insurance

Sports Travel Insurance will provide cover for the entire duration of your trip, and will cover you for any general travel issues, plus any issues related to your chosen activity.
